Luiduina, the table-mat is stunning! The lace itself is perfectly beautiful, and when I think of the job of mounting it - so perfectly at that - I am overwhelmed!! You are all to be congratulated!!

I am familiar with "The Tournament"... it is clear to me that you don't want to see your pillow empty again for a very long time!! I just finished "De Beeste", from the same syllabus which took me eight months to do. That's a big enough project for me for a while. I'm at that "what to do next" stage, (leaning toward one of the pieces in "Horoscoop").

Our lace group recently finished a great lace project : a table-mat for the
table of the marriage room of our town hall. I designed the lace (about
4m/1m) and we worked on it together with 16 other lacers. It took about
2500 hours to make it and we pass it to the local authorities in June.

After such a monopolizing work I was suddenly with empty pillows so I
gathered my bobbins and started a big Binche lace "the Tournament" with
about 400 bobbins. Now I'm sure to have work for quite a moment again ...
