With all due respect to Clay and Bev, I think their scenario deserves a
professional screenplay, and I have just the man--another Stephen!

Stephen King's little fantasy gem Dragon's Eye has a lovely little scene
where the falsely imprisoned prince makes a rope to escape his tower
prison by weaving it from unraveled napkin threads using a miniature
loom in the dollhouse he's been allowed to keep with him. Clearly Mr.
King only needs a little education (and inspiration) to be induced to
join in the fight to make lacemaking as popular and romantic as
archaeology! Fortunately, since he lives in Maine, there is a knot of
persuasive lacemakers on the spot to provide the necessary education etc!

It would make a great post-operative project for our Lace Fairy, no?

Best to all,
