Me, too.  I keep a small knitting project in my purse at all times.  
It's usually a decorative scarf using some of those wild synthetic 
yarns (eyelash, exotic multicolor, thread-wrapped, etc.), but right now 
it's a sock--the yarn makes red-and-white stripes with occasional 
patches of white-spotted blue.  In other words, "stars and stripes" 
(the nickname of the US flag) just with plain knitting.  Loads of fun.

Anyway, I knit at restaurants while waiting for service, on grocery 
lines, at the doctor's/dentist's office or car repair shop, any time I 
have to wait.  Turns frustrating "wasted" time into fun, productive 
time.
