Me, too. I keep a small knitting project in my purse at all times. It's usually a decorative scarf using some of those wild synthetic yarns (eyelash, exotic multicolor, thread-wrapped, etc.), but right now it's a sock--the yarn makes red-and-white stripes with occasional patches of white-spotted blue. In other words, "stars and stripes" (the nickname of the US flag) just with plain knitting. Loads of fun. Anyway, I knit at restaurants while waiting for service, on grocery lines, at the doctor's/dentist's office or car repair shop, any time I have to wait. Turns frustrating "wasted" time into fun, productive time. Robin P.
