Jen, I'm a little behind on the discussion, but wanted to chime in. If you have the time, please try to visit the cloisters up at the north end of Manhattan - you can get there by subway and a short walk.
The grounds are beautiful, the view of the cliffs on the Hudson river is tremendous, and the whole building is an amazing collection of items from various religious sites throughout Europe. The most famous textiles in the collection are the unicorn tapestries - well worth the trip all by themselves. Have fun! LeAnn in Oregon - where we're expecting to get 5 inches of rain this week! >Date: Fri, 1 Dec 2006 19:02:24 +1100 >From: "Jennifer Audsley" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Subject: [lace] Start spreading the news.... > >"I'm leaving in February " (to the tune of NY, NY). > >Hi Arachneans, > >Work is sending me to LA in late Feb next year, for a conference.
