Thanks for the replies I've got, both on the list and privately. There has been so many replies that I've given up the idea to thank you all individually (and, I must say, I'm not used to this g-mail account which doesn't mark the messages that have already been replied) .
Anyway, you'll hear from my study again next year or so. At that point, I'll start interviewing people, and I might ask some of you to participate via internet -but let's leave that until then ;-) Meanwhile, I'll be enjoying amazingly informative discussions on arachne. I've been subscribing to arachne list earlier, but I haven't had time to participate or even introduce myself. So I'll do it finally: I'm 28 years old, and I started making bobbin lace when I was 13. I have made Rauma lace only, because I learnt to make bobbin lace at Rauma, and for many years I thought that Rauma lace is all you need ;-) Well, I have quite a few things to learn...
