This reminded me of another method I saw once. The lacer had a cicle of cloth a bit larger than her pillow, made a casing around the edge, and put elastic in it. After everything was fastened down on the pillow, the covering was put over everything. It held well, and no pins needed. Alice in Oregon -- where lace meeting had a sudden change to a different location because someone else was in our meeting place. We can't complain too much because the room is rent free but I'll check on why there was a double booking so it won't happen again, hopefully.
