I clicked on lace workers, and wow, what a fascinating story. I had read about 'Harry Armstrong' in Thomas Wright's book - now see the definite connection. Mr. A. must have been quite a character. I was pleased to learn his given names. It puzzles me about 'Buffalo, Canada' however - I'm sure 'Buffalo' has always been an American city. There have been cross-border links, e.g. railway, between it and Canadian cities. Definitely a site to go back to. Yes!
