Dear Arachnes,

It was lightly mentioned on Arachne, but seems we should loudly congratulate
Aurelia Loveman and Jean Nathan!

Aurelia's lace fan graces the cover of "The Bulletin" - International Old
Lacers, Inc. Winter 2006-2007 issue, Volume 27, Number 2.

Jean's Jack (or Knave) of Diamonds playing card - 4 different lace
interpretations - is on the cover of "Lace" The Lace Guild's issue Number
125,
January 2007.

Many familiar names appear in these publications from the U.S. and British
lace organizations. If you are an Arachne who does not belong to a lace guild
-
please consider membership. You will find lace organizations in nearly
every country from which we receive e-mail.

It is very important to the continuation of lace that we support these
not-for-profit organizations that preserve lace and its history and provide
many
educational opportunities. They exist because of committed volunteers, donors
and members.
