Dear Lacemakers
It's good to read that there is such a lot of lace being made.
'A little bit at a time and a lot gets done'
I am working on 4 things at the moment.
Tatting -
- an A4 size bag with buttons and #10 thread. I tatted all the way to
Norwich and back last weekend (my husband drove.) It's growing fast. I
will take this to do on Wednesday at the Lace and laghter group I go to
each week and to The Heart of England Tatting meeting which is next
Saturday.
Bobbin Lace -
- I'm making a deep Bedfordshire corner to go on a hankie for my sister
Claire's 50th next year. This gets worked on every Tues when my daughter
Emily comes round and we make lace together. She is working on a wedding
garter for her friend.
Quilting -
- I'm making a huge banner for our church to take on pilgrimage. I have
it out all the time in front of the telly upstairs and work on it most
afternoons from 3.30 to 5pm as I watch 'Countdown' and 'Deal or no
deal'.
Computing -
- I go on the computer in the mornings when my brain is at its
brightest!!! to work on patterns and my web site which I have just
re-done - that took a lot of brain power. I still have more pictures to
sort and put on.

Best wishes from Rosemarie Peel
