Yes it is out of print, so it will be more expensive than the published price, but asking for a "Buy it now" price of GBP75.00 is steep and will probably put most people off. He's quite likely to be left with the book unsold, unless someone's really desperate for it and has that sort of money to spare. There are other Honiton books out there, although it perhaps some would prefer to continue on in the same style as 'Introduction to Honiton Lace' by the same author .

He'd be better letting the market decide the price with normal bidding - he might even get more than he's asking now - if he's serious about selling it. And as for the postage charge - obviously wants an executive salary for handling considering how long it takes to pack a book, and he'll be taking more than one item to the post office to actually send it.

All it needs is for Batsford to re-release it tomorrow and he'd be really stuffed!

I note the price of the second copy on campusi.com is even higher.
