Hi Brenda and everyone A couple of ideas: 1. Instead of doing a thread wrap, and without breaking the package, could you arrange a group of threads side by side supported by something with a measure on it? 2. I have an old thread like this and if I would use it, I would place it on a skein winder/holder - maybe you could try it that way, and locate an end, from which to do a wrap.
