I think might be good for packing the pillow, but wonder if the memory foam is firm enough for sticking pins in? I noticed softer foam chair pads at the discount store, thought them about the right size for a lace pillow, but passed on without purchasing for experiment, thinking they were too spongey for our purposes. Maybe someone has tried lacing on memory foam and can let us know.
