Sebastiana van den Herik: Dieren in Kleur (animals in colour) has a
dog. Not sure of the breed -- boxer or bulldog, I think. The technique
used is Russian tape lace.
It's funny, when you think about it... Dogs are supposed to be man's
best friend, you'd think there'd be lots of patterns of dogs. Yet
they're fairly rare. Some old laces, mostly (though not only) of
hunting scenes, have dogs in them, but I don't think that's what you
had in mind.
