Hello!
Haven't done any lace today, but I am setting up my pillow with a little Bucks Point edging called Constance. So far I have two pair wound and in place! I have not had anything going for months now and am looking forward to working on lace again. It may seem strange to go so long without anything, but it happens, and I have to admit that when the time comes that I can do all the lace I want, I will still have mixed feelings, because it will mean the grandson (and my daughter and son-in-law) left here for lands far away. He and his mother live with us while Dad is going through some training, and when he finishes, they will be off. Right now he is my shadow (his mom's a teacher), and after three attempts to start lace, I had to finally put it away for awhile. He has to be worse than a cat with them... he loves to toss them in the air and watch them bounce around! And to be quite honest, given the choice, I actually prefer sitting and reading with him or playing trains, knowing these days are flying by way too fast... He and his mother are off on vacation for a month, so I have pulled out the lacemaking again ... maybe if I get enough going before he comes home, I can keep it put in a safe place, and get some done now and then :)
