Aaargh... Why didn't I think of *that*??? Mine also came intact, but since I don't work with Midlands anymore (no use as a bobbin on the pillow)... and since it wasn't much different from all the Midland hoi-polloi I have from the earlier days (no use as a souvenir, since I wouldn't remember what it was a souvenir *of*)... I've been (mentally) moaning about it. Now, I have some ideas... :) Thanks, Alice.
