This reminded me of visits I have made to the exhibitions of the international lace biennal, where a lot of the exhibits, although thought provoking and in some cases beautiful, weren't lace by many definitions. Here are some websites to look at, with some interesting modern work, which is self-proclaimed as lace: http://www.moosamyllykangas.net/ http://digilander.libero.it/gloriavalli/ehome2.htm http://homes.hallertau.net/~bst46/english.htm https://reseda.uiah.fi/Taik/jsp/taik/Artistic_Activity.jsp?id=38542 http://www.inicreation.com/news.htm http://www.riga-gallery.com/?eng/artists/31/cv About the Biennal: http://www.dbk.be/en/frames/biennales.html To see pictures, select Biennials on the left, then a year, then trophies. Sadly the pictures are rather small. I've seen a couple of the exhibitions in Heidelberg. Well worth going to them if you can. -- Money can't buy everything. That's what credit cards are for.
