Hello All, I am hoping that sending this isn't against the rules, but I will plough on, with apologies if it is not accepted as proper!
As some of you know, my sister died in May 2006 from what is called Multiple System Atrophy - a distressing and terminal neural disease, similar in outcome to MS. My parents have run a choir in Sheringham for many years now, and since Linda was diagnosed seven years ago, have raised a lot of money for different charities, but with half of the proceeds of any charity event going to the Sarah Matheson Trust - which funds research into this terminal and distressing condition, and others such as Parkinsons. However, Mum and Dad are holding another charity coffee morning in the St Andrew's Church Hall, in Sheringham, Norfolk on Saturday 18th August - there will be a raffle as well as the usual attractions, but I will also have some of my lace gear in the car! We are moving from a large four-bedroomer house to (hopefully|) a three-bedroomed bungalow, so are de-cluttering the house, and although John feels that a huge bonfire would be quicker, I don't fancy that. So - some of my equipment will be going to Sheringham with me - and if any lace-makers will be in Sheringham on Saturday, and would like to know what gear I have got, and how much, then either drop into the Coffee Morning, or send me an eMail, and I will list what I have for sale. Thanks for reading - and I will hope to see some of you on Saturday but, if you'd like to know what I have, then do contact me privately.
