On their web site, they have manuals for newer models for download, but this model is around 10 years old. I know from previous experience of many years ago that they would send me to my Husqvarna dealer and he will be able to order it at an exhorbitant price. Failing getting a copy by another method, I'll have to do that. I almost pass the shop on my way to my lace group on a Monday, but that doesn't restart for another month or so. Basically I'm too lazy to drive over there before the class starts, and I'm too impatient to wait until around the end of September to get it - I'm sure I urgently need to know which of the 8 different buttonholes I need to use :-D.

I've got a hand-cranked singer straight stitch as well, David - technology has moved on a bit so that every appliance does much more than it used to, but they certainly don't last as long!

Just thought I'd ask the very helpful members of this group first.
