Avital,
The Anchor manual of embroidery has a whole chapter devoted to Puncetto
Needle lace. I did a class in Puncetto at the first Italia Invita Congress
and really enjoyed it. I am happy to try and answer any questions you have.

Subject: [lace] Puncetto help

Hi, spiders,

After watching the Puncetto video on YouTube several times I've become
obsessed with trying to make some (no, I'm not going to try to produce
3 yards of 8-inch wide lace by candlelight!). My only resource is a
copy of The Gentle Arts, which doesn't give advanced instructions,
just a few simple edgings. I haven't been successful in finding
instructions on the Web or in the lace and weaving archive. Would
anyone be able to help me find resources or give me some pointers?

Thanks very much,

Avital,
who is amassing a respectable collection of bits of mangled thread
