Dear lacers, It is with heavy heart that I tell you that my beloved friend and lace teacher, Christy Holtkamp, who many of you know through IOLI and else where, passed away today(27 Oct.) at 10:10 am CST. She was a spry 85 years young. She has been through a lot lately with the passing of her husband a year ago and then struggling herself and just recently has been battling many illnesses. She is now in a better place and with her maker and will be making the best and prettiest lace ever with her heavenly pillow. Please take a time of silence and prayer for her family.
