I think this was offered before, and not taken.  I
don't think it's showing current value of lace books,
but rather someone's hopeful speculation.

The same edition has recently been offered by others
for under $20.

Our local lacemakers like this book for beginning
students.  I frequently shop for copies on the net,
including eBay.  I certainly won't pay $66 for a copy.
 When I no longer can get copies, we'll just have to
choose a different beginning book.

There are some very nice patterns in the book, as well
as a set of basic instructions given in the form of
bookmarks.
