Sorry to be delayed in my de-lurking on this matter but I feel quite
strongly from two points of view on this matter of closing a textile
conservation facility. Not only is my hobby a textile dependent one but my
job as an archaeologist means that when delicate insigts into our past
through textile finds cannot be correctly cared for then we lose out on many
levels- so I have forwarded this petition on to my colleagues in this field.

Thanks

Rhiannon
(Northampton but trying to move to Ireland without too much stress)
