If you look carefully on the picture it actually says 'lacé'

Searching for that took me to:
http://www.craftdepot.co.uk/contents.cfm?maincat=35

which says

     LACÉ (LA SAY) CARD MAKING
Lacé comes from a French word meaning Linked or Laced Together.

This new method will enable you to produce beautiful and unusual greeting cards. It involves making a pattern of cuts and folding the loose edges over and under each other revealing both sides of the duo-colour card. A great effect!
