With matching thread I baste it in place on the fabric with small stitching on a day of good light and with my reading glasses firmly upon my nose, I trim the fabric close to the basting - and that's it :)) My one attempt at the three- or was it four-corner stitch was ugly - but I can baste a line of stitches as straight as an arrow, or follow a curving lace edging. It works for me :D -- Bev (near Sooke, BC on beautiful Vancouver Island, west coast of Canada) - To unsubscribe send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] containing the line: unsubscribe lace [EMAIL PROTECTED] For help, write to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
