Once again, I think it's time to remember that there really aren't any "lace police" who will confiscate our work
Maybe not confiscate, but I've known Lace Police who will tell someone to her face that she's an inferior lacemaker because she mixed techniques, tell her she's not good enough to take a workshop, etc. Such rudeness boggles my mind, but I've met people who believed they would never be able to make lace because of trying to belong to a lace group with Lace Police.
