I would opt for the cheapest method possible as I equipped my 2 grandaughters out with pillow,plastic bobbins,pin cushion,pins,and bobbin holder they started with great gusto and gave up about four months later the eldest is now at university and the youngest in sixth form so I doubt they will use them now unless they take it up at a later date but at present they are far too busy doing their own thing to make lace.
