Hi Mark - I agree with the others who recommended Brenda's book! I have gotten every new addition as it has come out, and have given my older editions (with printed updates from the internet) to another lacemaker who lives on a fixed income.
As for the weather... we're unusually cold here in Virginia. I think the low last night set some sort of record for our area... about 10 degrees F. That probably sounds "balmy" to those of you in colder areas, but it takes some getting used to for us!
