You could try going to the BBC wesbite, www.bbc.co.uk and searching for
Larkrise to Candleford. You should get up the webpage for the programme and
may then be able to find an online viewing of the missed first episode. A
couple of the British TV companies now put their programmes online for
viewing again if you missed one. You may need to download the appropriate
viewing programme first, in order to be able to view your chosen missed
prog., but the site will have a link for doing this.
I for one enjoyed it thoroughly but I like all costume dramas as a general
rule, I can't wait to see the rest of the series, I have not read the book
so can`t compare it with the book at all.
