The list is quiet today with everyone celebrating the Holiday. I would like to share my latest project, a Romanian Point Lace sampler. I bought a copy of Thompson & Waller's book, and decided to give it a try. I drew out a little tree and made a sampler, about 4x5 inches.
Making the braid was quite a challenge for me, because I never learned to crochet. The needle weaving stitches weren't too hard, and I think I would like to do some more. I took the sampler off the pattern last night and was delighted it didn't fall apart! I tracked my progress on my blog: http://tatt3r-lace.blogspot.com/ If you don't care to hunt through all my blog posts, I created a set on Flickr that has pictures of my sampler from beginning to end. http://www.flickr.com/gp/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/gq573t Enjoy!
