Further to my posting I have updated www.margorsson.com to include a
page on Contemporary Lace Makers. If you are a contemporary lace maker
and would like to link to this page please contact me. I have added
some more links to male lacemakers in Men n' Lace, including Achim
from Germany. I have also expanded the Men n' lace pages to create
pages for male lace makers who do not have their own web sites, these
include Pablo Gustavo Coccini from Argentina and Sam Jakobsson from
Sweden. Could I thank the arachne list members who forwarded their
contact details. The spiders web of male lacemakers is expanding! If
you know of anyone else please send me their contact details.
I have just come back from the Lace Guild's Annual Convention at
Sheffield. I had a great time meeting up and sharing the art and craft
of lace with a wonderfully diverse group of fellow enthusiasts.
