My apologies to those of you receiving an extra message (using a new laptop and inadvertently sent mid-composition)
The conference itself is called "Pacific Northwest Lace Conference" and is held at approximately 3-year intervals, rotating between lace club groups in Washington State, Oregon, and Britich Columbia. We attract teachers and vendors from across the continent. The host club this year is the Lacemakers of Puget Sound. Dates are June 4-8, 2008. Venue is the University of Puget Sound. There will be 15 hours of classes and a lace day to enjoy. Details are on this website: http://members.aol.com/lpsconf/lace2008.html There are several bobbin lace classes, a needle-lace class, and a tatting class. Note that Torchon in Color and the Torchon Stitch sampler have been canceled. Binche has a waiting list, but others have space. Some of you may have attended our original conference in Tacoma some years ago. It is the same campus, but we'll be staying in a different dormitory closer to the cafeteria, and the washrooms are semi-private this time. Notes to what you will find on the website: Organizers would appreciate getting your registration by April 30. If you have questions for me, please mail me off-list. I'm getting ready for Shuttlebirds (not to mention PNLC!) and may not able to read mailing lists reliably. Hope to see you there!
