I had some problems using vista and my easy lace program, but thankfully have changed computers within the household so I now have the complete program back. After taking so long to learn how to use my design prog I was devestated to think I had lost some functions. Now have it all up and running again and in the process of working in lace my best design ever for my napkins. I wish we had had this advice before we went shopping last June:-) but its helpful now anyway. Thanks

Yes it is. Just steer clear of a Toshiba - for some reason Toshiba laptops seem to have deficient "drivers" for the video card (which is what controls the screen display on a computer) and the people who have that brand get an
incomplete set of background dots. The rest of the programme works fine,
shouldn't have to buy it, but you might have to
work hard to convince the retailers, because they probably ordered in the
Vista-only models when the programme came out, and of course, they want to
sell their stock.

And good news for anyone considering buying a new lace-design programme -
Lace 2000 will very shortly be superseded by Lace RXP. I'm testing it at
the moment.
