I know, I did post yesterday about my various exploits, but remembered today as I was outside repotting plants, that gardening was and is my first passion. Grow most of my veggies and soft fruit. Then I went upstairs to look for something, and found my old jacket that I stitched by hand from my mother's tablecloth when I was about 15-16. It was one of those velvety ones with a Persian carpet pattern. I wore it a lot, and even made a matching handbag out of the sideboard runner that matched it, even though my brothers-in-law use to tease me,
saying they could still see where a hot iron had scorched it.
The bag is long gone, but I kept the jacket as a reminder of my hippy years. Must be a musuem piece by now.

Agnes Boddingon - lovely spring day, great for gardening in Ellougthon UK
