It supersedes Lace 2000 and has some excellent new features. If you've already used Lace 200, it means you have a head start, but it is a new programme and can definitely be used from scratch by those who have not yet dabbled in design. Download the demo and give it a try. The demo has all the features except, open, save, export and print.
I loved Lace 2000, but am already even happier with Lace R-XP. I also have Knipling, but haven't got on with it very well - I don't think it's as easy to use as Lace 2000 or Lace R-XP.
