Hi All,

The veil is in the latest Lace Guild Mag in Australia, but looking at the web
gives a clearer picture - magnificent piece of work.

The response I got from my daughter when I said I planned making a tablecloth
(in humble torchon) for my granddaughter's Wedding (Erin is 2 1/2) was
"Muuuuuuuuuuum"!

Some people just do not have any idea of how long it takes to produce something
like that.

My best "effort" so far was to use my Wedding dress and veil to make a
Communion dress and veil. The veil had a simple crochet edge with a matching
trim on the dress which all 3 of my daughters used. In about another 5 years
Erin will be up to that stage - ????? She did wear the Christening dress I
made for her Mum (all 4 of my kids were Baptised in it) - made from a pattern
in Golden Hands, basic French sewing, pin tucks and cotton lace.
