Hello ladies, I hope there is someone here who does Cantù. I'm starting to learn, just doing my first piece, and the lacemaker who is teaching me long-distance is away this weekend.
The pattern I'm working has a cross at the center. I've finished working the long vertical bit and I need to end off. Does anyone know if I do it like "casting off" in Torchon or if there is a special techinque for Cantù? If worse comes to worse I can leave those bobbins to hang there until my mentor comes back, since I have to hang new pairs for the crosspiece, but I'd like to keep things tidy if I can.
