I went to our local Sears and got one of the TableMate 1000 tables that
are on sale. Once home, I unpacked it and put it up. It is the same
height and has the same construction and features as the TableMate II,
which many of us have, but the table-top is not quite as big. The
TableMate II is 15.5 X 20.5, while the TableMate 1000 is 14 X 18.
Side-by-side, this doesn't seem to be a big difference. OTOH, that
little bit of size difference may make it easier to pack in checked
luggage - both in fitting it in the bag, and in keeping the weight below
the limit.
