I'm sure you all know that TableMates come in different sizes. Stacks and Stacks has three sizes including the large one: http://www.stacksandstacks.com/html/725_folding-table-table-mate.htm Since the large tables measure 25 1/2" would they fit in the IKEA bag or is it better for the smaller TableMates?
And if you're looking for something to travel on the plane with, take a look at the laptop computer table at http://www.improvementscatalog.com/home/improvements/65748-table-toteTM-workt able.html It folds up and disassembles to something the size of a notebook. The extension on the table pulls out/slides into the main top to give more space. The legs are adjustable in height. They store within the top. After dumping my drum stand at a workshop last winter, someone loaned me the table and I found it to be very stable. Just another option...
