I have a Dave-table! I don't use it tilted; I use it if the project I'm doing requires that I look down on it to work, which is most of my projects anyway. The anti-skid mat is a good idea if you are going to tilt it. The Dave is an excellent design, no sharp corners, the space for the laptop cord is also a convenient handle when you want to move it about. It is stable. I use mine for a laptop table, as a lace table, or a project space as required.
