I bought a round table-top with ring for my Newnham stand from Geoff Mudge.
It has the type of non-stick rubber matting stuck on it that you can buy in
rolls to stop all sorts of things for sliding. Didn't occur to me that I
could make the same thing myself. Attaching a ring to the bottom of your
pillow makes it difficult to use elsewhere. This table-top works very well
for all types of flat-bottomed pillows.
