Gee, Agnes, I do not know.
They did for a while as younger brotheres and sisters came into the group.
This was in 1998 then, some of them moved, then I moved. Next time I talk to
Cindy (k teacher)I will ask her for any update. Without someone to push a
little, I imagine their teen age life got in the way. But we have about 2
dozen kids who made lace for a more than full year (we had summer classes for
them too.) who atleast know of lacemaking and will never forget the
experience...hee~hee...they were so excited that they were asked to lace at
restorations and the Quilting Guild meeting, etc..... none will soon forget.
I am sure some would have stayed. After the second school year, kids in upper
grades and teaching was done after school.Cindy had to make time and charge a
small fee. (I did not need to do that...just drive 40 miles and home)....and
they dribbled away. So many activities for kids nowadays, I cannot blame the
parents.
I am glad I grew up when life was much simpler! However, It was great fun for
all

  Hello BarbE

Do you know if any of them continued to make lace?

  neighbour to the vet's.
Her very elderly cat was attacked by a dog.
