Hello Everybody,
when I, years ago, visited a Cantu course we got only a few drewings
and patterns which as we were told were from the museum in Cantu. No
book only what's in the books about lace in general.
I liked the workshop but I didn't do a lot later on. What I have seen
from few original works and from pictures I got the impression it is a
dense lace and therefore will not broke easily. The winding lines of
the patterns have a certain charme, I think. And single motives could
be nice as medaillons perhaps.
The tecnique we got explained was more or less what patty described.
So nothing new for you, sorry.
