You are naughty, too, Tamara - for giving me the idea of doing tiny plaits in the crossings!!!!!!!! Now I have to find another piece to try it out on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :))
I presume you mean like the piece you offered us in IOLI Bulletin. Fascinating article, by the way. I really enjoyed it, and reading about how you get to the conclusions, and work things out. Most enjoyable to see how your mind works! :)) Please keep these wonderful pieces coming. Glad to know I am not the only one who never has the right thread, despite a cupboard full of them, and always needs to buy something else!!! Tamara, - if you want to use up the old thread - can't you just put that it was made with XXX thread, and YYY would be a good substitute? I don't see why you need to avoid your threads just because they can't be readily available now. Here in Oz we can't get many of the threads you use overseas. I had never heard of Bart & ??? - till I got the Threads Book. I have not seen it over here. We get Finca readily - but you people in USA don't get it over there, I have been told (don't know how true that is, though) So we all have to substitute threads constantly. Thank goodness for Brenda's book!!!!!!!!! :)) I don't know how I managed without it for so many years!! Regards from Liz in Melbourne, Oz.
