Thank you Sr. Claire - when I googled, I found a couple of places in England that had the specified thread, but neither shipped to North America. Hadn't got much further in online searching. So, thank you for the two sources. If I do order any, I ought to get size 30 and 40 to compare 'in hand' with what I'm using.
It is only for the rudimentary 'hook' with a simple footside, repeated ad infinitum (ergo nauseum) for an edging - about all I'm good for LOL.
