Hello again all! Tracy at The Lacemaker has white hankies with hem stitched edge but I believe they are linen, not cotton. I will be at the shop on Thurs. & will take a look. At one point she had some fine white cotton fabric that we have used for Carrickmacross (sp?) & also shadow work (Madeira). I'll ask that as well. A lovely alternative--but not white--is Liberty of London fabric. This stuff is long staple cotton & very finely woven, similar to cotton lawn. I purchased a lovely pansy pattern from International Fabrics that would make a totally dreamy hankie!! Would anyone be willing to share info about North Wales & the summer school classes sponsored by the Lace Guild to be held next August? Any comments on class size, teachers, accommodations & food would be most welcome. Thanks. Sincerely, Susan Hottle in E-e-e-e-rie, PA
