I have worked out a diagram to do the filling of the face of the Vyatskii doll, and written instructions in 26 steps <g> using the weaver pair and edge pair of the tape. The diagram is true to the photograph of the lace. If anyone has this pattern and would like my notes, and the jpg, please contact me privately. The diagram is a sketch, worked out on a 400% enlargement of the picture, so it isn't of any use unless you have the pattern and original photo for comparison ;)
The tiny spiral of each intersection looks square, because there are only 4 spokes.
