Hello Everyone
The Lacemakers Fair at Solihull was lovely.
The venue had that light and airy feel about it, and plenty of space for
people like me on scooters and wheelchairs to get around.
I met a lovely lady called Micki an Arachne member. We had a lovely chat
together.
Micki you are a lovely lady so please keep in touch privately with me.
Which made the day more special.
It was a big shame that some of the lacemakers had left their manners at
home, and thought nothing of pushing their way in at some of the suppliers.
Now I know that lacemakers are not normally like that. Or at least the
lacemakers that I know are not this way. I will ask any lacemakers on the
list who did push other lacemakers out of the way yesterday to please not do
it. There is plenty of time for everyone to get the things they want to buy,
and who knows the lady you are pushing could be disabled.
Other than that one little gripe. The day was fantastic and my daughter
Shiralee and grandaughter Teresa had a whale of a time.
My thanks go to Christine from Ormesby Lacemakers who worked very hard to
organise the trip to make it possible for all of us to go.
Daphne very tired but happy Norfolk England
