I have got about a third of the way on a strip to make my christmas tree fairy a new dress and wings, the whole length will be about 20 inches. I started about a week ago using one of Christine Springetts patterns to which I have added some extra beads to show on the wings and also some extra ground to make the pattern fit the length of the doll. She is on my tree in her original clothes, but I would like the new one complete before the tree and decorations goes away in the new year. I thought about it last year but didn't get to decide on pattern or get started until last week. Also need to make a small snowflake/star pattern also one of Christines for my daughter, she loved what I had done and would like one in white. I have gone back to the drawingboard with the musical napkins as I think they could be better than my original pattern. Have a pile of patterns I would love to do but the current projects keep pushing to the back of the pile, just wish there were more hours in a day, <grin>.
Thank you fellow lacemakers.

Hello Alice and everyone

Curious mind is interested in what you might be working on - and everyone
else, what is on your pillow? what have you planned?

I have a few more pins in the filling of a tape lace angel from Hanne
Sonne's angel patterns (#2 angel, for anyone else with this book). A 5-ray
Torchon mat is my next project, unless it is sidetracked by one of the small
ornaments from the Lace Guild's Christmas booklet...or Jean Leader's star
from the LG advent calendar. On the back burner are some ongoing Flanders,
on the middle burner some hearts ahead of Valentine's Day :)
