Happy New Year to all Spiders around the world! I had cleared all my pillows off after the christmas card exchange and now have got a third of the way around a photo frame edging using "pattern 6" of Pamela Nottingham's 'fine bucks patterns' on page 168 of her "The Technique of Bobbin Lace". It is a narrow edging consisting of a mostly honeycomb ground with three single gimps making a kind of triplicate horse-shoe outline. I am using a pink/purple colour of gimps two darker lines surrounding a lighter one through the middle and so I think I will name it a "pink trinity". I'll get it up onto webshots once i'm done!
