Good morning, lacemakers! I've been on ebay this morning, and have found a couple of items of interest. Someone has listed three of Pamela Nottingham's books for one price. If you don't have these classics, this is a good buy (so far...), and the shipping is free in the US.
http://tiny.cc/BlKRr There is also a book called, "Textile Identification, Conservation, and Preservation" by Rosalie Rosso King (1985). I've not heard of this book, and am interested in what others have to say about it (especially Jeri!!). So much changed in what we know about conservation, and I wonder if this book is too old to be of any use, or whether it may be a gem... http://tiny.cc/bPm10 Clay -- Clay Blackwell Lynchburg, VA USA - To unsubscribe send email to [email protected] containing the line: unsubscribe lace [email protected].
